F.C. Golden State announces Elite Club National League move with all teams!

Pomona, Ca— 4/15/2020 — Today in Pomona, F.C. Golden State announced that all boys Developmental Academy teams will leave the U.S. Soccer supported league to compete in the Elite Club National League (ECNL) with all the top-level boys teams in the club. F.C. Golden State will join an elite group of Southern California Clubs in the league including San Diego Surf, Arsenal SC, Pateadores, Real So Cal and Irvine Strikers FC.

“We are excited, confident and thrilled to be a part of such an elite group and a powerful league that will showcase all of our players on the local, regional and national platform,” said F.C. Golden State Executive Director Jimmy Nordberg.

F.C. Golden State has an ECNL team that is currently competing in the league on all levels. “The platform has been tremendous for the players and the league is open to really working with the coaches to create a terrific environment,” said F.C. Golden State ECNL Director Brian Wright.

F.C. Golden State is honored to be in the elite company of these prestigious clubs and league. Since the club's founding in 2007, it has been the mission of president Robert Friedland to make F.C. Golden State one of the top clubs in the state, region and country. This is just another step in the right direction!
